Bespoke Design Service
For something entirely unique, you may submit your own logo, artwork or custom concept. We will create a tailored digital mock-up for your approval before engraving begins.

This service is ideal for:

• One-of-a-kind commissions

If minor refinements are required to optimise your artwork for engraving, we will advise you prior to production.

For bespoke submissions, engraving only proceeds once you have reviewed and approved the digital proof, ensuring complete confidence in your finished piece.

Engraving & Placement

Laser engraving permanently marks the wood, creating a subtle, natural burnt tone that enhances the grain rather than sitting on the surface.

For aesthetic and hygiene reasons, all designs are engraved on the non-working side of the board. We strongly recommend using the reverse side for food preparation.

Engraved areas naturally contain recessed detail, and while this does not affect the structural integrity of the board, we cannot guarantee food hygiene if engraving is requested on the cutting surface.

Our Finishing Process

Following engraving, each board is carefully treated using a high-quality, eco-conscious, vegan-friendly Danish oil.

This penetrating oil enhances the richness of the timber and protects from within, rather than forming a surface coating. Once fully cured, it provides a durable, water-resistant finish while allowing the wood to retain its natural character.

Please note:

• The oil can take up to 21 days to fully cure
• During this period, avoid prolonged soaking
• We allow appropriate drying time prior to dispatch

Ongoing Care

To help preserve your board for years to come, we offer the option to include a small maintenance bottle of the same oil used during finishing.

This is particularly useful if the surface becomes dry over time or if deep knife marks require light sanding and re-oiling.

Simply sand lightly, remove dust and apply a thin coat, allowing it to cure naturally.

Wood is a living material. Variations in grain, tone and texture are part of its individual character and add to the uniqueness of every piece.
